The solid door panels are constructed from galvanised steel sheets bonded together with high density CFC free polyurethane foam to provide a 'U' value between 0.24W/m²K & 0.4W/m²K with a thermal break at each joint.

The fully glazed door panels are constructed from specially designed extruded aluminium sections which are available in a mill finish, anodised or can be powder coated. The door is supplied as standard with a solid bottom panel and the remaining panels glazed with single or double 3mm acrylic.

Vertical and horizontal tracks, hinges, brackets, cappings and hardware are galvanised, with the assembled door running on adjustable galvanised roller carriers bolted to each individual panel. The door is perfectly balanced by means of helical springs at high level, mounted on galvanised steel plates and quality bearings to give smooth and quiet operation. Rubber seals are fitted to the top, bottom and both sides of the door for good protection against weather. The internal face of the door is bright white and the external face is available in a wide range of finishes and colours. The 'Thermalex' door is available in 40mm, 50mm and 80mm thick panels dependant on the degree of insulation required. Each door is fitted with two cable breakage safety devices which prevent the door from dropping should the lifting cables fail.

Operations

Manual operation is by means of a continuous galvanised haul chain, through single or double reduction gearing or by means of push up / pull down. All manually operated doors are fitted with a recessed lifting handle and an internal shoot bolt lock.

Electrical operation is by means of high quality three phase motor and gearbox, incorporating six integral limits. All controls are low voltage and have open, close and emergency stop buttons as standard. Emergency manual over ride is provided as standard to allow operation of the door in case of power failure.

Application:-

Each door is purpose-made to suit site dimensions and requirements and is suitable for all types of industrial use. Various track arrangements can be provided to suit each individual application, dependant on available headroom.

Classification:-

Under BS 13241-1, classifications are given to each door with regards to Wind Resistance, Water Resistance, Thermal Resistance and Air Permeability. Our standard classifications will be given at quotation stage or quotations can be given to meet individual classifications if required. A comprehensive log book is supplied with each door which will include operating instructions, maintenance instructions and all safety equipment details.
